Role and Company Overview:
The Commercial PV Design Engineer designs
and estimates photovoltaic (PV) systems for new construction and
commercial retrofit projects
. You'll create everything from quick estimates to full proposals, following building/energy codes, RFP requirements, and site owner needs—while protecting profitability and meeting deadlines.
You'll partner closely with the Senior Commercial PV Design Engineer (site walks + client interfacing) and a Commercial PV Design Consultant to deliver professional, competitive designs. After projects are sold, you'll support operations with redesigns, change orders, and accurate documentation across internal systems.
