A renewable energy firm is currently seeking a Solar PV Project Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. This Project Engineer will need to assist with all engineering related matters, which includes the designing of renewable energy systems, precise prediction of project costings, calculating system productions and ensuring the designed systems are robust in operation.
Requirements:
•BSc/ BEng: Electrical Engineering
•6-10 Years’ experience
•Extensive experience in the renewable industry sector, specialising in solar PV.
•Prepare budgets for new projects
•Site inspections – to accurately design and cost new projects
•Experienced in management and involvement of commissioning.
•Assist with the operations and maintenance issues.
•Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, PVSyst, PVSol, Helioscope
•Able to work independently and have leadership qualities
