Sommelier

5* Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg is looking for a Sommelier to manage the wine program, curates the wine list, and pair wines with food.
 
You will work directly with guests to suggest wines, decant bottles, and provide expert service, while also managing inventory, training staff, and maintaining knowledge of wine.

Duties:
 
Guiding guests through wine selections, suggesting pairings, and providing information on grape varieties and wine regions to enhance the dining experience.
Curating and regularly updating the restaurant's wine list, including managing pricing and supplier relationships.
Overseeing the storage, rotation, and inventory of wine, ensuring it is readily available and served properly.
