Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine - Days

**Full Time (80 hours/pay period)**

**Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30p, with on-call rotation every 7 weeks**

**General Summary**

Performs routine and advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures at an intermediate to beginning specialist skill level.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Performs obstetrical ultrasound in all trimesters including first trimester screening, level II fetal anatomic survey, growth evaluations, biophysical profiles and assists with interventional procedures including amniocentesis. Fetal echocardiography experience preferred but not required
+ Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
+ Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.
+ Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
+ Selects and operates equipment as needed to perform required exams.
