Sonographer, NUHS Diagnostics

Sonographer is responsible for providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge, Senior, or Principal Sonographer/Radiographer to guide and supervise junior sonographers and student radiographers when required.

• Perform general ultrasound examinations to patients as requested by referring physicians.
• Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in patient care, modesty, safety, and infection control.
• Ensure proper usage and care for ultrasound equipment at the specific diagnostic centre.
• Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer or Lead Radiographer.
