Sonographer, NUHS Diagnostics

Sonographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge/ Senior or Principal Sonographer/Radiographer to guide and supervise junior sonographer and student radiographers when required.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform general ultrasound examinations to patients as requested by referring physicians Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient Maintain a clean and safe environment adhere to safe work practices especially in patient care, modesty, safety and infection control Ensure proper usage and care for ultrasound equipment at the specific diagnostic centre Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer/ Lead Radiographer Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre.
