SOURCING HEAD – FOOD BUSINESS

ROLE PURPOSE

The Sourcing Head will own end-to-end procurement for our Foods company, with a mandate to drive systematic, month-on-month reduction in Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) without compromising quality or supply continuity. This is a commercially accountable role — the incumbent is expected to function as a cost centre P&L owner for the purchase function, actively managing supplier relationships, category strategies, and purchase planning in alignment with production and sales requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. COGS Ownership & Cost Engineering

• Own the blended COGS target across all food categories; prepare a monthly COGS dashboard vs. benchmark and prior month
• Identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives: supplier renegotiation, alternate sourcing, yield improvement, packaging right-sizing
• Develop and maintain a should-cost model for each major SKU/ingredient category
