Sourcing Manager (Mexicali)

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting the organization in meeting its daily responsibilities aligned with its strategic goals. This role will support the Americas region but is expected to work with other regions especially when it relates to global suppliers to share best practices and standardize integral processes where applicable.

Responsabilities:

• Work cross functionaly with planning, materials management, procurement, operations, master data management, engineering and quality groups to improve internal processes related to supplier management, supplier evaluation, developing suppliers OTD capability, managing transfer projects among suppliers and supporting insourcing/outsourcing flex programs.
• Support Vertiv’s Strategic Objectives by working to ensure Supplier Performance meets/exceeds needs of internal and/or external Customers.
• Localize suppliers to improve lead time, cost, and agility.
