Job Description

Be part of the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre's culinary team as a Sous Chef. In this role, you'll support the Executive Chef with food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
As a key culinary member, you actively engage in both food service and maintaining high cleanliness standards. Your leadership is crucial for efficient kitchen operations, and you will also work on menu writing and event execution. Ensuring a collaborative environment, you will help promote the vibrant cultures of the Sḵwxwú7mesh and Lílwat7úl people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and lead food preparations for service
• Maintain an organized and clean kitchen environment
• Ensure dish areas are swept and mopped daily
• Monitor and report issues with dishwashers and equipment
• Manage food waste disposal and recycling processes
