Job Summary

The Sous Chef at Botanic Resort Club is responsible for supporting the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations for the outlet, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and compliance with food safety standards. This role includes supervising kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation for daily service and events, and maintaining high standards suitable for a resort club environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations & Service

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the outlet.
  • Ensure timely preparation and presentation of food for à la carte service, banquets, and club events.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation to meet resort club standards.
  • Take full charge of the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence.

Team Supervision & Training

  • Supervise kitchen staff, including Chef de Partie, Commis, and Kitchen Assistants.
