Specialist Associate (IOC Operations)

Job Description

• Monitor and attend to alerts received from multiple technological systems – security and non-security – in the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC).
• Evaluate incidents and upscale to the relevant action parties.
• Coordinate and manage incidents with emergency response personnel, other departments, government authorities and service providers.
• Communicate effectively with emergency response personnel and all stakeholders.
• Gather enquiries, establish facts and prepare reports.
• Use management software and tools to diagnose problems, collect performance statistics and create reports.
• Document and maintain records of matters that occur during the shift. Ensure IOC equipment and systems are working properly.
• Identify operational problems and work with IOC management to rectify them, to support the service level requirements of the IOC.
