Specialist Consultant - Surgery

Our client is advertising an opportunity for an ENT Consultant to permanently join their team at a public hospital in the North Island of New Zealand.

The ideal start date for this position is August 2025.

The city is the first in the world to see the sun each day and it has a reputation for great food, wine and surf beaches.

This small 110-bed acute care hospital serves the East Coast population, approx. 47,000.

You will enjoy working in a supportive, team environment with highly qualified SMO’s and House Officer’s, and have oversight of medical admissions and management (unselected medical take), giving you exposure to a wide range of medical presentations and procedures, along with many educational opportunities. The medical department is supported locally by comprehensive surgical services, along with modern diagnostic facilities including a new MRI scanner and CT scanner.
