Specialist, Database Engineering

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Specialist to join the Production Services department within OP Pohjola's Development and Technologies organization. In this role, you will be responsible for administering database solutions within OP Pohjolas's datacenter environment, with a particular focus on either Db2 for LUW or Db2 for z/OS (or both).
The position is full-time and permanent, and available either in Helsinki or Oulu. Like the rest of OP Pohjola, we work flexibly, combining both office days and remote work.
What is this all about?
As a Specialist in Database Engineering, you will be responsible for managing, developing and optimizing on-premises databases in our datacenter environment. Your responsibilities include database performance, capacity planning & monitoring, maintenance and security. You will also ensure that our databases remain compliant, stable, and cost-effective.
