Specialist Engineer - Reliability & Safety

**What you’ll do:**

This role will provide Technical & Strategic leadership for Mechanical Reliability & Safety (R&S) within the Enterprise Center of Excellence (CoE). The position is accountable for defining and deploying enterprise‑wide Reliability and Safety strategies, anchoring DfR (Design for Reliability) & DfS (Design for Safety) practices across all Eaton businesses. The leader will collaborate with Product Engineering & other CoEs to proactively identify, manage, and mitigate reliability and safety risks across New Technology Introductions (NTI), New Product Introductions (NPI), and existing products.
Key responsibilities include establishing & executing Mechanical R&S roadmap, and expanding the application of R&S practices to untouched areas. Additionally, he/she will also drive improvements in field performance through warranty reduction initiatives.
