Job Description
- Lead mould design and development for multi-cavity injection moulds (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner, insert moulding), including concept review, design feasibility, and DFM/DFMEA.
- Develop and optimise injection moulding processes for new tooling (debug, troubleshooting, process optimisation/DOE) and ensure robust start‑up to mass production.
- Support mould trial planning and execution: prepare trial plans, set up moulds/machines/auxiliaries, monitor trials, analyse results, and document trial reports and process sheets.
- Create and maintain mould design documentation (2D/3D CAD, drawings, BOM, change records) and ensure compliance with engineering drawing standards.
- Coordinate with Tooling Engineers, Production, Quality, and suppliers to ensure timely mould build, modification, and qualification, and to resolve technical issues.
