Specialist Outreach Teacher

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Due to roll growth in our outreach services, Mt Richmond Specialist School is seeking an experienced teacher who is skilled in working with students with Ongoing Resource Scheme (ORS) funding across mainstream schools. The Specialist Teacher Outreach Service (STOS) works as part of the student’s support team, which includes their class teachers, MOE Special Education staff, support staff and family/whanau. The role may encompass a range of activities, including:

• Teaching, assessing and developing programmes
• Monitoring progress and next steps
• Modelling, supporting teachers and support staff
• Contributing to IEPs, whanau meetings
• Student reports

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Current NZ teacher registration
