Spectrum Operations

**Overview**

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Spectrum Operations. This position will be located in AUAB, Qatar and will be on site position.

**Responsibilities**

Provide frequency management support. The contractor shall:

1. Process requests for frequencies into the Spectrum 21 (SXXI) database;
2. Plan and obtain frequency allotments in various countries in support of contingency or exercise operations for US Forces;
3. Maintain and manage US frequencies;
4. Review and process frequency allocations to ensure mission requirements still exist;
5. Manage reported cases of electromagnetic interference (EMI) within the AOR;
6. Coordinate with applicable agencies, host nations, and DOD organizations to resolve EMI issues IAW Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution (JSIR)/AFI 17-221;
7. Prepare and provide interference reports;
