Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) and the District Principal – Learning Support Services, the Speech‑Language Assistant (SLA) provides speech and/or language therapy practice and support for students. This is a district itinerant position.

Position

Temporary until June 25, 2026. Location: Cranbrook. Hours of work: 35 hours per week when school is in session for students. Wage rate: As per CUPE Local 4165 Agreement $29.48.

Qualifications Required

• Successful completion of a two‑year program in the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Minimum of 180 hours of supervised practicum by an accredited institute.
• Computer and augmentative communication technology skills.
• Driver’s License.
