What you’ll do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders (speech, fluency, language, voice, swallowing) in adult or pediatric clients.
• Develop, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and swallowing disorders.
• Create personalized care plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct research on speech and communication disorders and develop new diagnostic procedures and devices.
• Instruct and supervise communicative disorders assistants, students, and other health care professionals.
