Overview
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible and accountable to the Manager, Interprofessional Practice for the provision of quality care, assessment, treatment, education and counselling to patients with swallowing and communication impairments as established by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and the standards of Speech Language Pathology care of the hospital and its affiliates. You will work as an active member of a multidisciplinary team. This role primarily supports patients in critical care and general internal medicine; however there are coverage requirements in Stroke, Complex Continuing Care, Respirology, Surgery, and the Emergency Department. Participation in clinical education and staff onboarding is a requirement of this position.
