Speech Language Therapist (Fixed Term, 1.0 FTE)

Fixed‑term position until early September 2026, also considering part‑time (0.5 FTE).

This role covers a secondment of a staff member and will work within the local area with flexibility to work across Greater Wellington as needed.

Responsibilities

• Working to understand the impact of children and young people’s speech and language difficulties in the context of their home, school, and community.
• Working closely with parents, caregivers, teachers and other specialists to help them support their children with the development of speech, language and communication skills.
• Working as part of a trans‑disciplinary team and often working with children with complex needs.
