Speech Language Therapist

Position Overview

Fixed term, full-time (until March 2027). Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This role provides Parental Leave cover for a 12-month period through to March 2027 and is based at the Tauranga Office.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Speech Language Therapist to be part of a close-knit, community-focused team that maximises learning and promotes social inclusion for children and young people with learning support needs.

Responsibilities

• Work to understand the impact of children and young people's speech and language difficulties in the context of their home, school and community.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, teachers and other specialists to help them support their children with the development of speech, language and communication skills.
• Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team where a child's needs are complex.
