Splunk SME/ Engineer

Harrington Starr are hiring for a leading global financial services organisation. They are seeking a Splunk specialist to help create world class monitoring and availability

The role has both technical and strategic importance within the cyber security and technical engineering teams.

Ona day to day basis the role will involve:

• Splunk Deployment including patch management to ensure health and stability
• The on-boarding of log sources in to Splunk
• Maximizing monitoring and detection capabilities of the Splunk platform
• Working with the leadership on the evolving splunk strategy

In order to be considered you will need:

• 5+ years of experience as a Splunk Engineer, ideally with a background in the financial services industry, with solid in-depth experience in administering and operating a distributed Splunk Enterprise setup.
