Sport Shop Representative (Northwest Calgary)

Position Overview

Part‑time Retail Salesperson in the Sports Shop at The Calgary Winter Club. Working mainly evenings and weekends, approximately 12‑16 hours per week, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sell sports items including swimming, badminton, tennis, squash, curling, fitness gear, casual wear and other active‑lifestyle products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests with a friendly, organized approach.
• Handle sales transactions, including cash handling and use of the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store appearance.
• Coordinate with team members in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience with an athletic‑based company.
• Active lifestyle with demonstrated activity in at least three of the sports featured at the CWC.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs boxes overhead.
