Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a growing team in South Carolina. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for a finance specialist who thrives in a hands-on accounting environment and can bring strong ownership to core close and reconciliation activities. The role will support accurate financial reporting by managing ledger activity, preparing entries, and ensuring accounts are properly balanced and documented.

Responsibilities:
• Lead key monthly closing activities to help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and alignment to accounting standards.
• Maintain and review general ledger activity to identify discrepancies and keep records accurate.
