Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half Management Resources is actively recruiting for an strong Sr. Accountant to join the loan staff practice. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the accounting team with month end close, booking journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, doing flux analysis and complex accounting entries. In addition, the consultant will need a strong understanding of GAAP accounting. This role is onsite.

Technical Skills:
- Strong month end close experience (Booking entries, Reconciliations, critical thinking skills)
- Complex financial transaction experience (Accruals, Bonds, Loans, Debt covenants)
- Capital projects (depreciation, additions, disposals)
- Analyze monthly financial statements’ actual to budget and balance sheet flux analysis
- Support external audit if needed
- Heavy excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, large data sets)
