Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant for a contract engagement with a dynamic organization in the Iowa City area. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership of key accounting functions, and ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

+ Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP

+ Support budgeting and forecasting activities

+ Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
