Sr Accountant

This role will support, challenge, and partner with the Lighteum Medical team by delivering high-performance finance objectives across Lighteum Medical's global business.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls across MDC entities in the US and UK.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**General Accounting & Financial Reporting**- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in compliance with US GAAP and, where applicable, IFRS standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and complete reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
