Sr Buyer - Indirect (Monterrey)

Innovate high‐purity, high‐performance chemicals and materials.
Executes tactical work in indirect procurement – places POs, sets up suppliers, unblocks invoices & maintains automation for the countries he/she covers.
Responsibilities
Place purchase orders, track and expedite non‐catalog orders to meet internal customer requirements.
Initiate supplier set‐up with Commodity Leader's approval; ensure purchase orders are placed within 24 hours of requisition creation, monitor order progress, expedite critical orders, and reject non‐compliant requisitions.
Deal with invoice discrepancies, immediately resolve all issues relating to invoices on hold, manage purchasing system alerts (e.g., invoice, quantity, etc.), and work closely with sourcing buyers and Commodity Managers by providing customer/supplier feedback and assuring compliance of order placement with the strategic supply base.
