Job Description
Independently complete mechanical capital planning assignments, including Reserve Fund Studies (RFS), Property Condition Assessments (PCA), and Performance Audits (PA), under the direction of a Project Manager or Senior Manager.
Lead mechanical site reviews, assess existing building systems, and prepare component-level condition assessments and repair recommendations.
Develop mechanical system repair options, cost estimates, and long-term replacement strategies for multi-residential and commercial properties.
Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and related documentation including condominium declarations, by-laws, and legal survey drawings as they relate to mechanical systems.
Apply a strong working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines, property standards by-laws, and condominium legislation relevant to mechanical systems.
