Zurich Canada is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist, Property for our Vancouver office. This role focuses on handling commercial lines property claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity within specific authority limits, ensuring efficient, effective, and customer‑centric service.

What you will do

• Document the claim file by accurately capturing and updating data in line with best practices for moderate‑to‑high‑exposure commercial claims.
• Use judgment to check policies and determine coverage by analysing applicable coverage.
• Work toward prompt resolution of claims by developing a file strategy and evaluation, escalating issues as needed.
• Set reserves in a timely manner and carry out ongoing reviews throughout the claim lifecycle within authority limits, estimating and validating claim value.
• Meet quality standards by following best practices.
