Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain working relations with suppliers assigned.
• Monitor stock and inventories of local warehouses, and plan quantities of parts and materials needed, with respect to production and delivery plans.
• Negotiate contracts and specific conditions for delivery of parts, materials or services.
• Ensure timely procurement and order management to ensure parts and materials are appropriately delivered.
• Ensure supplier performance reporting, announce and clarify claims, if necessary.
• Buy mid-volume (direct and/or indirect) materials, parts, or services for the local plant(s) or site(s) assigned; regularly plan, evaluate and monitor the needs of local requisitioners. ...
