Sr Cost Accountant

**Job Purpose**:
This position is responsible for various aspects of the monthly financial closing process, analysis, and internal reporting of financial result for the business units in the respective location.
Through reconciliation and analysis of monthly financial data, this position will be responsible for accurate reporting of the SBU's financial performance in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage and perform the monthly closing process including reconciliation of data to GL and analysis
- Maintain databases of sales and expense information
- Preparation of margin analysis schedules, customer analysis schedules, and variance analysis to forecast, budget, and prior year.
