Sr. Database Engineer - Operations

Overview

We are looking for someone who can support our current SSIS-based environment while also helping modernize our data integration approach over time. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our data stack, including future‑state work related to Azure Data Factory and broader ETL modernization efforts. The Database Engineer – Operations will support existing SSIS pipelines and play a key role in the team’s longer‑term modernization efforts toward Azure Data Factory and related ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support for Data Feeds – Own day‑to‑day operations of SSIS‑based ETL feeds, resolve tickets for jobs and data anomalies, and maintain alerting strategies aligned with architectural standards.
• Data Investigation and Operational Data Updates – Analyze database structures and business rules, then design and execute targeted SQL scripts for accurate, auditable data updates.
