Sr. Ecommerce Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Backend Engineer to help architect and deliver the core financial engine of our platform.

This role is part of our Core Product Build Organization, responsible for building the systems that directly power revenue. You will own backend architecture decisions across payments, checkout, idempotency, multi-tenancy, and RBAC, ensuring these systems are designed correctly from day one.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build the core revenue path, including payments and checkout
• Design and enforce idempotent, fault-tolerant transactional systems
• Establish backend patterns for multi-tenant architecture and access control
• Partner with Tech Leadership to lock architecture early and enable parallel execution
• Ensure strict data isolation, security, and compliance standards are met
