Sr EKG Technician

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr EKG Technician.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms on all in-and out-patients utilizing appropriate recording machines, including Holter monitoring. Performs Holder scanning duties and interprets arrhythmias from scanner. Trains new personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepares patients for testing.

Gathers and sets up equipment and supplies according to established departmental procedures.

Calibrates and warms up equipment prior to procedures, ensuring its proper functioning for procedures.

Interacts with patients by identifying self to patient and verifies the identity of patient by checking the patients ID bracelet. 

Explains the procedure and equipment to the patient. Provides for patient privacy at all times.
