Sr. Engineer Capacity Planner

Responsibilities

• Configure and follow up on order entries in SAP, ensuring alignment and capacity with customer commitments for correct material supply and on‑time delivery.
• Create sales orders in SAP based on customer requirements, assign delivery dates considering capacity.
• Manage steps for BOM release, coordinating interactions among engineering, procurement, warehouse, and planning.
• Generate reports and KPIs: order entry, P1s, Pre‑BOM follow‑up, final BOM follow‑up, capacity to order follow‑up, and changes to new orders, maintaining commitment dates.
• Support long‑term forecast creation and tracking, maintain FATOs, and coordinate inter‑plant and procurement teams.
• Release updated lead times reflecting plant capacity, collaborating with CI to assess bottlenecks and manufacturing time.
• Assist in creating work centers, resources, and consumption in SAP for better capacity and production planning control.
