Sr. Engineer, Supplier Quality

Primary Purpose of Job

• Manage new supplier qualifications and development
• Manage supplier PPAP process in new product development or transfer or resourcing project
• Manage Production Assurance (Pre-shipment Inspection/ Process audit) and Problem Solving (CAP)
• Manage internal customer complaint and warranty follow up
• Lead continue improvement internally (GSMA) and externally (supplier side)

Major Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Audit (SQA) and Social Accountability Audit (SA) to suppliers based on Stanley Black & Decker audit process; trace improvement plan (CAP) and maintain audit information in the dedicated audit database.
• Conduct Pre-Shipment Inspection (or call EOLA, End of line audit); responsible to issue official inspection report, request, review and follow up the CAP from the supplier, load audit result and maintain the information in system if any (e.g., QM).
