What To Expect

The Optimus geartrain manufacturing team is seeking a skilled and highly motivated, mechanical equipment design engineer with high precision equipment build experience within gearbox, electric motor or other industries focusing on rotating machinery design and manufacturing. We work with the cross‑functional teams (Design, Quality, Production, Sustaining, Automation, and Supply Chain) throughout the entire lifecycle of a product (from initial design through prototype development and into full production) to develop volume manufacturable designs and processes that will produce gearboxes. The role of the equipment design engineer is to support establishing a world‑class production line for gearboxes and drive scalable design and production methods used to make “the machines that make the machines”.
