Job Summary:
The Registered Sr. Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacists in properly dispensing and checking medications to patients and performs technical duties as set forth by the applicable College of Pharmacists.
Specific Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary customer service that meets the standards of McKesson Canada.
Sign technical aspects of prescriptions as per the approved guidelines set forth by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Receive verbal prescriptions as per the approved guidelines set forth by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Take on additional duties and responsibilities as per the approved guidelines set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Billing prescriptions through pharmacy software, ensuring all required documentation is adequate and appropriate including (but not limited to) accounts receivables, dosage and dosing intervals, third p...
