Sr. PV Design Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects
• Must have experience with both solar and wind renewable energy technologies
• Ability to perform string sizing, inverter selection, and DC/AC ratio optimization for utility-scale projects
• Experience must be specifically with utility-scale projects only
• Deep understanding of single-line diagrams (SLDs), three diagrams, voltage drop calculation, and protection and protection coordination.
• Expert-level AutoCad (2D/3D) or PVcase for layout automation and terrain-following designs.
• Proficiency in PVsyst and HelioScope ground-mount system.
