Sr. Staff Accountant

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant with at least three years of full-cycle accounting and finance experience, preferably in the construction industry. This role involves working closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions.
+ Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
+ Reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor for discrepancies.
+ Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
+ Prepare monthly journal entries.
+ Support year-end audits and tax preparation for external auditors.
+ Assist with federal and state tax filings as needed.
+ Contribute to Work-in-Progress (WIP) calculations.
