Sr Supervisor, Logistics

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position will coordinate and manage the Receiving, Material Handling, Inventory and Shipping of the Global Logistics as directed by the Logistics Manager. The core responsibility of the position is managing and leading a staff approximately 5-10 Shipping Coordinators and Shipping Clerks. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for effective resource planning, cycle count accuracy, and proper material handling techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Direct the staff and activities of Receiving, Material Handling, and Shipping personnel who ensure material is efficiently and properly managed.
2. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
3. Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing logistics procedures and personnel. Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
