Job Description
• CMM Programming & Operation:- Develop, test, and optimize CMM programs using software such as Metrolog, PC-DMIS, or equivalent.- Perform dimensional inspections on stamped components and assemblies per engineering drawings and GD&T;(ASME Y14.5) standards.
• Stamping Process Support:- Validate die and tool dimensions for stamping operations.- Conduct first-off inspection and support die try-out activities.- Collaborate with tool room and production teams to resolve stamping-related dimensional issues.
• Measurement & Reporting:- Generate detailed measurement reports for PPAP, GR&R; studies, and customer requirements.- Interpret and analyze mea surement data to identify deviations and support root-cause investigations.
• Support Fixture & Strategy Development:- Design and d evelop measurement fixtures and jigs for stamped parts.- Create measurement strategies aligned with RPS (Reference Point System) an d industry standards.
