SR./PRINCIPAL PHP ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior/Principal PHP Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Colombia. Our client is a leading expert network that provides business and government professionals with opportunities to communicate with industry and subject-matter experts to answer research questions.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional experience developing web-based & CLI-based applications in PHP frameworks.
• Experience using open-source PHP (Symfony and its components and/or API platform, or heavy design pattern PHP framework).
• Understanding scaling in LAMP: leveraging Redis, RabbitMQ, and SupervisorD.
• Understanding how to leverage APMs, such as Datadog, to isolate performance bottlenecks.
• Solid knowledge of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution utilizing Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Knowledge of Linux, command line, SSH, SFTP, and SCP.
