**What You'll Do**The Staff Accountant is responsible for carrying out most of the day-to-today accounting functions of a rapidly growing organization, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements for management, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local principles, performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.Reporting to the Country Financial Controller, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**Accounting Operations**- Own and manage the Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash accounting cycles.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and e-commerce payment processor transactions.
- Ensure alignment between sub-ledger and general ledger balances.
- Record daily financial transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations.
**Month-End & Year-End Close**- Prepare and post recurring and ad hoc journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis.
