Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Van Nuys, California. This role is integral to managing day-to-day accounting functions for construction projects, ensuring precise job cost tracking, accurate financial reporting, and adherence to industry standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers and other departments to uphold financial integrity across multiple ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries for payroll, job costs, accruals, and adjustments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and retained earnings.
