Band 5 Staff Nurse – Coronary Care Unit

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 staff nurse to join our dynamic Coronary Care unit at Hereford County Hospital. This role will allow you to develop your nursing career within a specialist area and work alongside a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administration of medication, including intravenous drugs.
• Caring for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as coronary angiography and other investigations.
• Providing support for patients’ nutritional and hygiene needs.
• Participating in practical supervision and assessment of students on placement.
• Communicating with the medical and multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
