Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be building out and enhancing our MDR solution while delivering new features and improvements that provide value to our customers. You will work on everything from analytics dashboards to serverless backend services to big data ingestion and processing pipelines. Key Responsibilities•Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and ship services and features while collaborating in a dynamic and results-driven environment.•Work at all levels of the stack, from building cohesive customer experiences to scaling ML pipelines•Take an active role in mentoring junior engineers•Make a direct impact on the success of WatchGuard as a company •Participate in on-call rotation approximately once every 2 months

Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience with Python in a production environment

2-4 years of experience with AWS, in particular Lambda functions and serverless development
