Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon - Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital - 12-month contract - up to 1.0 FTE available

With 265 beds, Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major health facility in the heart of the beautiful New England / North West region of NSW providing a wide range of high quality, patient focused care. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to work with the team at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. Our Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons are supported by a team of four permanent Registrars who are then supported by a team of three JMOs. You will be allocated to the department roster duties including but not limited to: Elective surgery, Trauma theatre, Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinics, daily ward rounds, portion of the on-call roster, teaching and support of the Registrar team.
